NZ TV News Video: High dosage vit. C by IV brings back swine flu victim from "brink of death"
A NZ farmer was hospitalized after falling severely ill with swine flu. His family had been told that there was nothing more that could be done for him and that life support would be withdrawn. In spite of all the obstacles put up by the medical professionals at the hospitals involved, the sick man's family were able to get legal help compelling the doctors to administer high dosages of vitamin C (25gm per dose). The patient, to the astonishment of the doctors, recovered completely and regained his health.

1. This belongs in the Health forum.
It would stay up longer.
I take a vitamin C supplement daily, in addition to eating a lot of fruits and vegetables, and I never get sick.

3. I wish they would do much more research on this treatment method.
Here's a link to a PubMed article on other good results from giving vitamin C intravenously:

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16567755

However, with no money in this for Big Pharma, there's much less money for research, but plenty of money to fund studies trying to warn people away from vitamin C.
