Palin's Enthusiasm Gap..
Edited on Fri Oct-29-10 10:10 AM by HipChick
Outside of her rabid base, she can't draw a crowd...Palin/Miller rally last night

c/o mudflats ..400 attendees..maybe..in her home state?. A chunk were people from out of town who walked over from their downtown hotels to do a little “Palin gawking.” And there was a lot of the lamestream media present to witness the spectacle. But to put everyone’s questioning minds to rest, here is a picture from the event. Palin had finished a few minutes before, but Joe Miller was still on the stage and the event itself was not over for about another 10 minutes.

2. Doesn't even look like 100 people in the photo.
Yet the media shows her more than they do Obama.

4. Of course, they do. They have to build up to a big matchup in 2012
by manufacturing controversy and making everything sensational. They are looking for viewers and the only way they can get them is to treat politics much the same way professional wrestling is promoted.

6. She'll be in Toms River, NJ on Halloween night.

Can't predict what kind of crowd she'll draw at a Shore Town during the non-tourist season.

9. I've noticed..the media no longer talk about the #'s of crowds that are attending
because they are so low..

I hope she does run again, so she can get her arse handed to her again by the voters

7. The media has been covering up the lack of crowds for Palin
for a while. The TeaParty Express bus stops probably attracted less than 25 people at each stop - but no mention at all in the media of that. They continue to prop her up like she is some major influence.

11. That's right -- completely forgot
about the Express. Has that thing been traveling? Has there been any reporting on it? Why can't the stupid MSM show the empty events along the way. I'd love to do some googling of that...

13. The only pic I saw was when the bus stopped in Arizona and
I'm not sure which city, but it looked like there were 25 people standing around Palin. I tried googling that (last week) and couldn't find much . I assume it was a failure and we will never hear about it.

15. Sheesh - here's one --
St. Louis stop (complete with misspellings in supportive comments): 100 people. Apparently there was "location confusion", accounting for small turnout:

http://kmox.cbslocal.com/2010/10/28/downtown-tea-party-express-rally-draws-small-crowd

Didn't find any other reports of crowd sizes via a Google search, but created an alert and will stay posted!

Underwhelming, to say the least!

16. Good find!
Now imagine if the media told the truth for a change. They (media) made Palin. They made the Tea Party sound like something much more than it is. Here we are a few days before the election and instead of showing the truth of the size of this enthusiasm, we are treated to "Will Palin run in 2012?".

I hope Joe Miller gets the lowest vote total known in a Senate election and we'll see how important Palin is then.

17. Yeah, if the media were only honest...
it's just unrestrained capitalism at work. All that matters is the almighty dollar, and this stuff sells!
