First interaction with a "Tea Bagger"
It was back in February that I had to call up this business located in Las Vegas to order a part for a piece of kitchen equipment that I have.

The woman on the phone taking the order had a strong accent of some sort and she was telling me how bad things were in Las Vegas and how things needed to change.

She then went on and told me about a website that was run by her husband. Being she had such a strong accent, I couldn't make out what she was saying. I didn't let on however and just listened to her best I could.

She then went on further and said to me, "We cannot let the Blacks take over. This is a movement we have going now ... Palin."

I didn't know what to say to this woman and I ended the conversation with her quickly being very disgusted admittedly. I should have asked for her supervisor or something in hindsight.

It wasn't long after this that the Tea Party began to emerge with Sarah Palin as their leader.

My god, this is what it is all about. The Tea Bag Party should be called the Racist Party IMO.

What kind of a sick reality have some people (some being immigrants YES) in our America embraced? Do these Tea Baggers (or RACISTS) wish to repeal the Civil Rights Act as well and undo all of the good that makes America what it is?

:wtf: is wrong with these racists other than the one thing they all share; hang on to racism no matter what and no, this "movement" is not confined to the white male as it obviously contains people like this woman I had the displeasure to speak with and she was most definitely not a white male, nope. :argh:

:(

3. I believe you nailed it
This is no doubt fascism. Many of the people involved in this thing that I've met up with since seem to share something along with their inbred racism and that is ignorance in the extreme.

2. Fear makes people hate
Or at least, it tends to bring out the worst in people. This country is suffering the equivalent of a nervous breakdown because so many are suffering from fear and uncertainty brought on my the economic collapse.

The fear is stoked and fed upon by ghouls like Palin.

I think a lot of this will go away if/when the economy gets better.

I also think it is no surprise that the woman was in Las Vegas. That is one of the ground zero's of the meltdown.

As long as we're fighting each other over stupid reasons we're not paying attention to them while screw us over.
