I turned the *&$%# clock radio off this morning
As soon as it went off, the first words on WBZ, Boston - "A Republican tidal wave is in the making", followed by Cokie Roberts commentary - (paraphrasing) "Big sweeping changes coming to Washington today", then the obligatory local on-scene schmuck - "I'm waiting here for Republican candidate Charlie Baker to walk across the street, walk through those doors behind me and cast his ballot"

Fuck the whole bunch of them. Whatever happened to real journalism and reporting?

I'm going back to bed.

2. I'm not giving up.. I'm showering and GOTV all day today... Also have to sneak in voting and
Dragging apolitical hubby to the polls... One of those unlikely voters. Lol. And today I'm signing him up for absentee ballot so he doesn't ever have to worry over actually leaving the house. Lol.

3. The whole media is doing it. "Democrats face the worst defeat in 70 years". My suggestion
listen to music, DO NOT listen to the corporate hacks

10. In and of itself, it's just blather. But I still worry.
As we've learned from Fox News, and by sports fans everywhere...sometimes people pull for the team they THINK is going to win, because they want to be affiliated with a winner. I know people do. Especially those that don't have a horse in the race, or really understand the sport.

It will happen here too. The Mindless Drone that is most of the American Electorate will vote Repug, because they hear the massive kicking of asses that is going to occur. They want to be right, even though they don't know what is going on. They will pick the person they think will win, so they too can say, "Yeah, I told ya. Take that Dem...who did I vote for again?".

In this way our Media is helping the GOP Cause. And how is it a Liberally biased? I've yet to hear real questions and answers from these people. Being sheep that we are, and highly suggestive, the future of our country lies in the Inquirer and American Idol, not Popular Science, or the Walter Cronkite show.
