I admit, it was the first race on my ballot, but it was the last circle I would fill in. Meek or Crist. Having read all that I had read, recounting all that I had heard, I started to question what I should do. Surely a vote for Meek only helped Rubio beat Crist. A vote for Crist was the more surefire way to keep that lunatic out of office.
Suddenly, I remembered that I don't trust the media...or polls (like there's much of a difference?) and I voted for Meek, and I'm damn happy with it.
Straight Dem ticket, baby!
And if I'm wrong...I guess I was wrong. Or maybe too many folks did believe the hype. We'll know tonight.

Neither Crist nor Meek had a shot because of Crist's antics and the FL democratic party's failures combined. Nothing anyone can do about now, but I did vote for the best choice out of the three. Really hopeful for Sink winning the gov's spot, too.

One of those Breitbart kooks looked to be heading down there to fake another scandal. If anyone hears anything, lemme know.

Kendrick Meek is a man of principle. His voting record left no doubt in my mind for my vote. I can't help the fact that many voters are brain-dead - that's their problem and the carnage they cause is all of our problem. I was happy with Crist's vetoes. But his hedge on all progressive issues is enough for me to stay clear. I'm not voting for people for defensive reasons anymore. I'm voting conscience first from now on. I couldn't be more pleased with Meek's record. Let the fascists have their day once again. Maybe, just maybe, this country will someday wake up to the damage the right has brought upon us all.

If some of the Florida residents vote the straight Democratic ticket for Alex Sink then Meek could ride her coatails in the Senate seat. That and the voters who intend on voting for Meek.Especially if Sink can stay above 50%.

Because even if Rubio wins, this will make it harder for the so called "independents" to run a candidate and be a spoiler in the elections. We do not need Faux "moderates" whose real purpose is to cannibalize the left. Rubio is in, but he will have the full stink of the tea party on him, and he is already being investigated.

23. Latest projection I see is Rubio got 49.7%, Meek and Crist a combined 49.0% |
|
so if Crist voters voted for Meek, Rubio still would have won.
I'd say people may as just well admit the Democrats weren't going to take that seat. It was Republican before, after all. Why have a fight about it?
