18. It was his health care vote. |
|
My parents live in his district.
The seniors were upset about death panels and government takeover of health care, blah, blah, blah.
Hope he will run for the Senate.

9. If *I* had to guess, I'd say he bucked the trend of everything politicians are supposed to do |
|
and was bound to quickly get the boot after one term.
There's a pit in my stomach. Did I think it'd happen? Yes. But I didn't want to believe it.

fucking goobers that vote repub. Jeeeeezzzzzz this is a state with the largest confederate flag in the united states of america flying over a major interstate highway.
A state that is dumber than a box of phosphate dust and wants to lower the expectations further.
A state where having the first child happens close to 14 years old and then the kidmoms and boyfriends kill the mother that tries to do best for them.
I'm getting outa here, I just can't stand the shit no more, the poor wages, the fucknutz that think the beaches belong to them instead of the people, the state where taxes are cheaper on a 180K boat than they are on a pair of kids sneakers and airplanes are taxfree.
This state once had promise, no longer, no fucking way.
By mid year next year this place is in my rearview mirror.

12. I know exactly how you feel. It's my 20th year here- I miss living in a blue state. |
|
With that said, even in MA, Duval Patrick is not winning at this moment- too close to call- and that's also pretty pathetic and where I moved from.). But I agree- living in Florida is embarassing and yes it is filled with fucknutz. One was just elected as Senator.

|
and the changes have not been good. I never thought a place that was really beautiful and had promise for generations could change so drastically.
Watching the governors race at this point scares the bejesus outa me. Good luck in the future, can't say much more than that.

22. Massachusetts appears to still be sane- Florida-= not so much. |
|
Agree with you on the Gov. nail biter. It's terrifying thinking of Alex Sink loosing this to a criminal but it could happen. A tea bagger just won the Senate but a huge amount of votes. Sigh.
