Is Fox news still calling it 49 senate votes to Dems? Or am I watching delayed coverage? |

1. That's correct. 49 Dems, and 2 Independents that caucus with Democrats |

3. Local news says GOP gained 6 in the Senate - but there are still |
|
races too close to call in AK, WA and CO at 3AM.

5. Alaska won't be a gain, it was already Republican |
|
And no matter who wins, it will stay conservative, as the Democrat has no chance now of even coming in second.

6. I think Mark meant net gains. |
|
Democrats have already locked up our projected 51 in the Senate with 3 races not called yet. True about Alaska but that race could get Al Frankened for months, giving the GOP one less Senate vote for the duration.
Washington and Colorado could go either way.
