Now, will the dems realize that you have to fight every step of the way, kick ass if you want |
|
to govern. The republicans never give a inch, they take no prisoners, they take a lie and they will stick with it and pretty soon, it no longer is a lie. The dems talk compromise, how much of that did we see. Personally, I am glad the blue dogs are gone, what help were they anyway? Regardless, what has happened has happened and we could all see it coming. Yet, it seemed like the dem leaders acted like nothing of the sort was going to occur.
Boehner, talks compromise, yeah, right. We know what he means by that.
Remember, right after we won the elections. First thing Pelosi said was impeachment was not on table. Do you think you will hear anything like that with the republicans.
I hold out hope that someday all of us dems and groups, environmentalists, animal rights, progressives, liberals, whoever, will all just join up together and kick the asses of the old white good old boys republican club.

How many times do we have to see the same thing play out over and over and over?

|
pieces are left and go to war with these jerks. Now all you hear about is working together where the hell was the media these past two years. They keep talking about Obama was supposed to be a uniter. WTF, it takes two to unite.

2. The base knows this. The leadership may know it, but chooses not to pursue it |

4. No. The Dem and the President are ALREADY talking about compromises and deals...on tax cuts and |
|
health care and corporate regulation.
They did not even wait for the dust to settle to start being wimps. They have never learned that being more like a repuke DOES NOT WIN ELECTIONS FOR THEM. GEORGE LAKOFF WAS SAYING THIS 10 YEARS AGO...AND IT IS STILL TRUE.
Funny, the repukes never said anything like that when they were in the minority...in fact, quite the opposite.

6. I know, the republicans can be in the minority and block legislation, they will be |
|
in the majority and enact legislation. Dems in the minority say, the republicans control everything, they get the majority and complaiin about the republicans stopping them on everything. They need to find a way.
