Stop trying to frame the dissension as an overreaction to losing the house! |
|
The midterm drubbing is just the latest and most painful of a series of major disappointments associated with this administration. No matter what Obama does (or doesn't do), supporters insist he just needs time to get it right. Sorry, IMO this president has been running down the wrong track since day one, and I have little hope he will change. I don't really give a shit if it's blasphemy, I would support a primary challenger.

1. Yesterday he said he had some blame for the losses |
|
So taking him at his word shouldn't be blasphemy.

5. Our local dinosaur was put down, and a lot of DINOS, too |

and that makes for a stronger party, IMO.

3. It has to be the right challenger, though |
|
I don't see one--yet. But I totally agree.

4. I think a trip to 'Backbones-R-Us' is in order. Surely he can find one there. |

6. I helped elect as president a guy who believed in compromise |
|
without grandstanding. The guy isn't going to change, we can only hope that in his resolve he can make the other side change.
Right now it looks strange. Even though my president's initiatives fail because of obstructionism, my president keeps reaching out to the obstructionists.
I recognize this is a very Ghandi-like approach. But it took Ghandi decades to bring to fruition, and Obama's only got 2 more years.

7. So did I help elect this man and I'm sticking with him. |
|
Others elected what they wanted him to turn in to....

some DU'ers will insist he's doing it wrong and he's going too slow.

9. Stop overreacting to the loss of the House |
|
Did you demand that Clinton get primaried in 1994. If you were old enough.
This is not as bad as 1994 was.
If you think Obama is on the wrong track, imagine the track the Republican President will go down.
