I can hardly wait to see these teaparty winners fail on the job. |
|
These clowns are profoundly arrogant and ignorant. They're gonna come in waving their arms bellowing about how "they" represent "real Americans" we all better listen to them ...or else. None of these asshats have the vaguest clue about how government works, let alone the Federal government. They think all they have to do is make pronouncements and it becomes so. If the rethugs are smart (I know, I know) they will put a boot on the throats of these clowns early on to get them under control.
They will likely tie things up more than they already are.....and if they do....BOTH parties need to call them out on it......the enemy of my enemy is my friend.
Fortunately since most of them are in the House we can expose them as useless idiots they are and get them replaced (hopefully with sane people) in two years.
Just my two cents.

1. If the American voter had really paid attention to the politics over |
|
the past 2 years, they'd have demanded more and better Democrats. (Counter-intuitive, I know) Oh well, the lessons taught over the past 40 years still haven't sunk in with 50% of the voting public. Maybe next time.

5. Case in point - Michelle Bachmann (barf) |
|
But she won handily against a GREAT well organized and well liked centrist Dem. The bitch cannot be beat here in MN 6th. She can'tAnd she is a certifiable, laugh out loud loon. But folks here just shrug and say, "she speaks her mind. I admire that." WTF?
The woman is on TV more than reruns. I predict that the teabaggers will not be exposed, they will be coddled and promoted.

8. but what has she actually done besides bloviate? Nothing. |
|
a new bunch of blowhards who still don't get anything done ......more gridlock.......I don't see that getting them reelected.
Bachmann gets reelected because she is a gerrymandered district which, as I recall, may well be redrawn as a result of the census....the very census she told all her people to ignore,.......which means it likely underreported...which means it will likely be absorbed into another district. What party is the MN Gov and Congress? If Dem, it is possible to have the district redrawn to make it bluer. She has absolutely nothing to hang her hat on but her is blood red district .

3. Doesn't matter if they fuck up - the media will applaud everything they do anyway, |
|
and tell us just what a wonderful bunch of people these new electees are, that they're listening to the people and doing things to benefit Joe Everyman. No matter how much the truth might be otherwise.

4. They will succeed beyoind their wildest dreams. All they have to do is |
|
continue their policies of the last 2 years and bash Obama and the remaining Democrats. The Democratic Party will split over Obama or another candidate in '12 primaries, and Democrats won't vote in the presidential election. The GOP will take over everything they didn't get this time and manipulate it all so we can't come back even if we had the will, which we obviously do not.
You are seeing the beginning of the end of the Democratic Party as a national party, and I doubt it will take more than another few years to kill it.

6. Are you kidding? They'll be party loyalists |
|
who will take their orders from staff supplied by the Koch brothers and other plutocrats. My guess is that they'll be largely invisible in the House and only stick their heads up once in a while to make a crazy speech at some wingnut meeting like the Values Voters. In other words, they'll follow the pattern set by Michele Bachmann.
The enemy of my enemy is rarely my friend, although he might be useful in the short term.

9. They are certainly going to find some blowback, aren't they. |
|
And it will also hurt the republicans.
