4. Podesta is making me feel better. He said you have to stand on principle
while finding common ground that moves the country forward.

Spoke against cutting Medicare, Social Security.

6. Realize Frum is now in the wilderness
So he is looking for a new home.

Will not be too shocked if he goes the way of David Brock.

10. It's good to see Frum making sense
I greatly admired his mother, Barbara, who was a respected progressive radio announcer and host on CBC.

It always killed me to know he wrote the "axis of evil" line when he was with Bush.

He seems to have recoiled somewhat from the sheer insanity of RW punditry.

11. They would be in trouble with a functioning mass media
But whatever they do will be hailed as the most statesmanlike maneuvers since Cicero, every fumblemouthed pronouncement will be re-imagined as a new Gettysburg Address, and the most ruthless attacks against the have-nots will be portrayed as the salvation of the republic.
