I Have Never Seen Liberals This United
Is it just me, or is every single major liberal commentator or writer out there, all saying the same thing?

Basically every single major political figure on the left has reacted to Obama's "concession" speech in the same way and that is with laughter. The presidents ENTIRE base is laughing at him and the ridiculous absurdity of yesterdays delusional speech.

Talking Points Memo has a great mash-up of Obama and Mitch McConnell literally saying the exact opposite of what the other is saying. It is 2 days since the election and the GOP has made it very clear what they intend to do and that is NOT compromise with the dems.

Literally every single legitimate liberal seems to be saying the same thing and that is that Obama needs to put up a fight over the next two years and stop acting like a scared little girl. I am honestly very surprised to see how unified all the lefties seem to be about this and it makes me very optimistic. I think McConnell and Boehner fucked up big time by saying so quickly and clearly that they had no desire to do any sort of compromise. They have inadvertently forced liberal media figures to condemn Obama's speech in a way he wont be able to ignore. I think this is an important development and it will be interesting to see how Obama reacts to the entire liberal media jumping down his throat.

3. I've never seen liberals this disunited
For instance, I am a diehard liberal, and I disagree with you completely. You either need to stop listening to crap TV or take a lesson in how real men--smart men--behave.

been listening to with 1/2 an ear, and a conversation I had w/my sister. The 'liberal' media has been merciless. I understand the direction President Obama would like to go in, but I have to consider why. The rethugs have publicly maintained they won't compromise; maybe Obama does need to get tougher. He can still do that while being smart, and I suspect he will.

8. I agree with you but because I am a liberal I have a different emphasis.

For example you say that we are disunited but I am united in general with you but in a different faction so I would say that we are not disunited but 'factionalized'. And while you think he needs to stop listening to crap TV I am of the faction that thinks he needs to stop 'watching' crap TV. But then again I would suggest MSM instead of TV because if he is watching Al-Jezeera then he wouldn't have seen so much crap. Also you should have said 'real progressives' for obvious reasons. So while I am in principle united with you in your statement I have delineated 7 factional differences so that if there were 1000 liberals that agreed with you we would sub divide that into 4.5 million factions.

That's how liberals roll.

Will Rogers knew it.

And that is one of the main reasons we don't capitalize on power when we get it.
