Gov. Perry on Morning Joe spewing 'the repub way' to govern:
He has just told America that it's time the federal government to go back to the constitutional way and let the states provide the pension and healthcare systems to their citizens freeing up the feds from a lot of expense. He suggested that Gov. Jindahl will come up will imaginative ways to do this in LA.

He also said Bush will go down as a great president because he kept us safe! His engagement against the radical Islam, against the West will (again) go down as a great president. Perry disagreed with bush over NCLB and Medicare part D expansionbecause they weren't good for the budget!

More repub propaganda.

5. Amazing, I saw that too....they just sat there and let him go on and on
never pointing out there is any kind of opposition to his viewpoint of governing....of course, that would require being awake.

4. Perry is like a cockroach
Actually, that may be unfair to cockroaches. I'm sure they serve their function admirably. I can't think of anything of worth that Perry contributes to the world. He just continues and continues to be... there.

Dude just won't go away. I was still in high school when he became governor! DU had *just* been born when he became governor! And now, four more years of this ass?

Best case scenario I can see is if he resigns as governor to run unsuccessfully for the presidency. Only, he might choose to run without resigning his seat, in which case he'd still be there, only more visible and obnoxious. Or he might even get the Repug nomination, which I don't even want to think about... VP perhaps? Palin/Perry '12? God, that's horrible.

11. I lived in TX from 2003-June of this year. It's a have and have-not state
and that's just the way it is but it certainly fits into the repub agenda. Sad and ignorant. What gets me is the failure to recognize that helping the least among us is fiscally responsible (the faux tenant the repubs toss around)not to say the moral way of course, no one can pin that moniker on the repubs!
