US votes can and have to be bought and sold!
Why is anyone even discussing the 'mandate,' 'message,' or 'sign.' Conservative groups, way outspent the combined moderate and liberal groups. The mandate, if there is one, is simply, 'If you pay enough money, you can drown out reason!'

Honestly, why does anyone think the Tea Party is anything but show. These people where shipped in, handed signs and stood up for free trips, breaks from their jobs and a free lunch. Their anger is whipped up, bought and paid for.

Does anyone consider that without the graft, free advertising on Fox, and constant astroturf, we would have a decent Senate, House and economy? The enemy here is not the republican. It is the source of their funding. In a system where leaders demonstrate obvious brain damage, one has to as the question, exactly why is brain damage an advantage?

I find it reassuring that they had to spend so much money to rig the elections the way they wanted to. If you examine it, they spent a fortune on surveys, just so they could be sure how much more they needed to spend. This is not a mandate, this is a purchase.

The message sent, if any message was sent at all, "With enough money, you can fool enough of the people enough of the time!"
