Rahm Ripped for Abandoning Obama

Chicago mayoral hopeful Carol Moseley Braun slammed rival Rahm Emanuel for "abandoning" President Obama after "pushing policies that led to the biggest Democratic Party political loss in 27 years," the Chicago Sun Times reports.

Said Braun: "He left the president holding the bag... If Rahm abandoned the president of the United States, what makes anybody think he'll stick by regular Chicagoans?"

7. No Dave. She is angry that he still thinks he deserves to be mayor. She thinks he should shoulder
the responsibly for taking the popularity of Obama that Howard Dean built and trashing it in 2 years.

14. So only Dean and or Rahm are responsible for the success and or failure of Obama?
I'm getting seriously lost in people's pet personalities here

13. Rahm's experience in campaign strategy is part of it; the fact that he was
wrapped up in his own ambitions instead of the country's needs was another point.

4. It sounds a lot like she's saying OBAMA's policies
(many of which were pushed by Rahm) were responsible for the biggest Democratic Party political loss in 27 years.

5. She's not wrong.
But anything that gets Rahm out of the White House is good in my book.

anywhere in the nation PERIOD... In that sense I agree with Carol

Obama chose Rahm and other DLC scum, but let Carol kick him to the curb as a loser/diserter/has-been that he is by any means possible!

22. When Obama picked Rahm as his Chief of Staff . . .
I was overcome with nausea. Emanuel is a shill for the Democratic Leadership Council which is the main hangout for Blue Dogs. This so-called "centrist" organization caves in to Republicans and big money before they even ask for anything. Rahm should change his name to DINO.

That said, Obama chose him and Summers and Geithner and the rest of the crew that gave us no public option to keep insurance companies in check and refused to cap bonuses for financial institutions that took bailouts. Yuk. What was he thinking? Now the rats are jumping ship. Go figure.
