Michele Bachmann should be made an example of
It's bad enough voters are uninformed and vote in large part from what they hear and the percentage of those voters who hear comments
from leaders who should know better than to stir controversy and fear by making sure what they say (they know what they're doing) is
as correct as it can be. But this seems to be our representatives new mission, show us that lying is the new American Way.
The reason I have said before we are doomed as a nation is the lack of "statesmen" in our government today.
I would put up 99% of today's reps against those of the 40's - early 70's and today's reps would look like they never attended school on
day of their lives.
Off the top of my head, when Palin was asked a simple question as to what papers she reads she couldn't answer and turned it around as an attack from Katie.
G.W. Bush was asked what a "sovereign" nation was and that was really embarrassing.
Last week a dem and repub who were debating didn't know the minimum wage in this country.
These aren't leaders, they aren't statesmen, they are not even politicians, they are puppets for the country's corporations.
If they want to take the country back, then start with them.
