So we boycott viewing anything in Olbermann's MSNBC slot, yes? |
|
Just checking.
I can't think of a better way to let Neilson tell MSNBC that they screwed the pooch.

8. Why the hell should Keith get support for breaking rules his coworkers have to abide by? |
|
Despite the histrionics and hysteria, no one has actually shown that Keith is being held to a higher standard than his coworkers.

It hasn't been discussed at all.
So we can't assume that anyone else is being held to the same standard. If you have a fax of the memo that shows that, we'd all love to see.

24. I would assume that it will come out quite soon if others have gotten away with it |
|
There would probably be a revolt at MSNBC if people felt the boss was targeting an employee unfairly. At the very least, there would be a bunch of leaks to the media pointing out the hypocrisy.
So far, I've seen nothing but a lot of hysterics and conspiracy-mongering.

He's only been back recently. Ed Schultz got reprimanded after he threatened to burn the place down. Poor David Schuster has been exiled to Siberia because he crossed a line. Why the hell should Olbermann be the only one who can get away with breaking the rules?

To be honest, I can't recall the specifics since pretty much everything Pat Buchanan says is either racist and/or nuts. He made some remark last year which went too far (even by his standards) and he subsequently disappeared for months from MSNBC.
On edit: Maybe it was his "It was wrong to declare war on Hitler" column that he wrote back in September 2009.

move into it, a brown noser whose views I would question. This was a biased suspension and unless it's dealt with, unless dozens of other 'journalists' are suspended also.
