Ok we see the GOP leadership backing off
many of the promises. Boehner already said no to reforms in the earmark system... I mean if he did reform it his buddies will not get that gravy train.

Now we also learn, from Wendell Jones, that they will not touch the health care bill.

http://www.newsweek.com/2010/11/05/why-healthcare-reform-will-survive.html

Any body wants to lay odds on Tea Partiers NOT reacting to this?

And if you are not afraid of the potential reaction, you are not paying attention.

WHAT A FRIGGING mess!

1. I could be wrong...
But these moves make them look rather toothless to me...

I'm all for that!

:D

And you just know the tea partiers will react negatively to all of this!

I love it.

Watch the Republicans implode.

3. Tea-ers may NOT pay attention to the nuts and bolts,
thinking they did a swell job and its all over. (Remember, MOST are NOT as attached to all this as we are!)

8. Hi, Ellen. I've always believed that the 'baggers' were realy motivated by ONE thing only:
Obama's race. That's the deal. Defeat him because he's black. None of this nonsense about deficits: where were they when Bush was getting thru Medicare part D and his two wars? They didn't show their faces...this is ridiculous...

12. I didn't think so initially, but I think you're correct,
that's the 'man in the street' baggers. Heavy-duty repugs sponsor/encourage/feed them, looking to consolidate their POWER. (Armey, etc.)

15. Why else would they suddenly become so "active"?
Really, where were they when Bush was running up the deficit with two wars and Medicare Part D?

Alluva sudden these idiots are running around in tricorn hats and funny wigs...I gotta laugh...I mean, REALLY...

13. They could care less
They didn't care when Boner and his buddies did this from 2000-2006.

As long as white guys make the decisions, it's okay.

20. They'll forget all about why they were so mad
Well, maybe the Tea Baggers will stamp their little feet and throw a little tantrum, but they'll soon forget all about why they were so mad. Then they'll fall into line behind their Mighty Leaders and do whatever they're told. Again. And they will think they're still the cutting edge of American cutting edginess.

The fireworks show should be brilliant.

I missed out on the popcorn concession. Maybe I can get in on the lawn chair rentals.

Much like some on our side the importance of many a policy will evaporate.

24. No matter what the Republicans do the baggers will applaud them. With gusto!
That is because baggers and Republicans are the same people.

Do you think all these baggers were just born?

These are the same idiots who voted for(twice), and loved Bush.

Don

They're going to get a full-on teabagger revolt.
