The reason it is funny, like most things that are funny, is that it has the ring of truth to it.
So yes, it is funny.

6. "Lower unemployment could raise inflation which might cause investors to make slightly less money" |
|
is so true. I mean in the 1980s the governments the world over figured out how to stop inflation and that was to raise interest rates and cause a recession in the stock market.
By having this jobless recovery the investor class can go along in boomtimes while the poor and the middle class fight inflation for them by being unemployed or underemployed.
Works out perfectly for them.

I wasn't unemployed.:( I can't even get a job at a fast food place because they are afriad I am too over qualified. t sucks really because I havent been able to enroll in college because I cant pay my old school off or my student loans but I do not qualify for unemployment even though I worked for the Census for a year. I can't get a job in a office cause they require a degree. People think I am lazy for bring unemployed but in reality I am looking aggressively but with no luck since I have no experience or education to back up my skills. A Hiring Manager told me he spoke to my references and I seem to have excellent skills working for me but with chances are no one will hire me due to the lack for education and experience. I wish Congress could see this not just for me but for everyone in my situation.

But don't get discouraged. I have a huge resume, and I still only got a low paying job because the people in charge worked with me via the other company I worked for last year.
Nobody wants to take a chance hiring someone, and so usually they make a mistake and hire the wrong person for the job who lies the best. Keep trying, volunteer at the library or similar if you need more on your resume, and do as many applications as you can while being as close to what you have experience as possible.
Welcome to DU, and hopefully you have good luck in your job search.
