Note they threw in a pig reference, for 'unclean' linkage.

There are two types of societal spiritual sources I have found most things match up with. Although people are not all one or the other, but have both good and bad. However some people think opposite of what is good and bad.

One is the idea of God of favor, in that certain people are given great perks of material things if they agree to hurt many people, and usually if they agree to worship something that is prideful.

The other is the God of love for all people, where each person is equal with the spark of life and dignity, so there is not as much material reward, but instead spiritual reward, since that is what the spirit gives, things of spirit, but not for any individual but for all people. That view does not need images or things built in its likeness to be worshiped, and does not seem to have the flaw of pride.

I think it is the meaning of reward from man, or reward from God spoken of in texts.

As far as thoughts of the vengeful stuff in the toon, I will leave that to others.

Not sure what it has to do with the tea baggers, figure that is distortion.
