They've had since the early 1980s when Ronnie Raygun dropped the top tax rates. Under Clinton, top tax rates were the highest in about the last 30 years, and that was the period of greatest prosperity in that time.

lobbying for billions and billions of dollars in tax credits and deductions, subsidies, and profit enabling deregulation. Quarter after quarter, it's about the profits.
Tragically for us, these multinationals have zero allegiance to the American people.
