Flash from the past: Group offers $50,000 for proof of Bush service
Almost 3 years later...no one has proved Bush served in the National Guard. There is still $50,000.00 reward for someone with proof. Not even one person who supposedly served with Bush has claimed the money? "Bush's dishonesty about missing from service during Vietnam goes to the heart of his presidency. He was dishonest then just as he is misleading us about why we went to war with Iraq. He dodges responsibility then just as he dodges responsibility for Iraq today.

Group offers $50,000 for proof of Bush service

Tuesday, September 14, 2004

(CNN) -- The founder of the group Texans for Truth said Tuesday that he is offering $50,000 to anyone who can prove President Bush fulfilled his service requirements, including required duties and drills, in the Alabama Air National Guard in 1972.

The group made the announcement as Bush was in Las Vegas, Nevada, to address the National Guard Association's convention.

"Today would be a fine day for him to finally answer all the questions that have dogged him since he entered public life," the group's founder, Glenn Smith, said in a statement.

"Bush's dishonesty about missing from service during Vietnam goes to the heart of his presidency. He was dishonest then just as he is misleading us about why we went to war with Iraq. He dodges responsibility then just as he dodges responsibility for Iraq today."

1. I was talking with a friend about this a few days ago. We were wondering if
anyone had ever stepped forward to claim that reward, but apparently they have not.

2. Perhaps because it's all a lie? Someone got paid to cut him
the paperwork for an honorable discharge? I just about gagged recently; I live near the TX ANG base where * supposedly served, had to get my military ID renewed, and saw a picture gallery of him in uniform; I felt physically ill, no joke. Also had a pic of Rummy which wasn't behind glass that I promptly turned over. Someone in the same area saw that and 'righted' it.:eyes:

behind all the spun lies that were created and force fed a gullible public by a complicit self-serving media.
