Tax Cuts--Obama Needs to Communicate NOW
Obama needs to get on the TV and start talking about extending not only the Bush tax cuts for the middle class, but from his 2009 stimulus as well, but we cannot, unfortunately, afford to extend the Bush tax cuts for those making over $250,000/yr. When the Republicans start screaming that EVERYONE should get a tax cut, he should call them on being "fiscally irresponsible", saying they want to get the national debt under control but obviously are more interested in giving their rich friends tax breaks which adds $700 billion more to the deficit. He should also say--REPEATEDLY--that the Republicans are willing to hold the middle class tax cut extension hostage to make sure that the wealthy buddies continue to get a break from Washington.

This whole thing is nothing more than a communication contest. I'm afraid that for the past 18 months, Obama has been on the losing end of this game. GET WITH IT, WHITE HOUSE! Forget the appeasement crap, Mr. President, your re-election battle has already started. Take off the gloves and start KICKING SOME ASS!!!

1. Under Obama's plan, EVERYONE gets a tax cut
on their first $250,000 of earnings. He should say that.

2. Okay....but he NEEDS TO SAY IT....
over, and over, and OVER again (just like George W. Bush used to do).

3. He should be speaking with some bona fide "small business" owners who can explain
how increased demand for goods and services drives job growth, not reduced expenses.

Cutting taxes does not, by itself, stimulate job growth.
