Folks, we MUST draw the line some where - enough is enough. DEMS who we worked so hard for in 06 need to walk their talk, period. No blank check's for Shrub's war was a promise that many now on The Hill offered up to the peace activists/voters in exchange for their vote. If they keep enabling this immoral and reckless occupation, they deserve to be in power no more then the rethug cronies that are lapdog's for the BushCo regime.

I'd go as far to say that any DEM - Blue Dog, Conservative, Moderate - who votes for the war funding bill does not represent the majority will of We The People. A democracy only functions if those in power listen to those who elected them.

I don't care how much needed pork the DEMS are getting in return, it does not nearly rise to the same level as the moral prerogative to end the damn war!

Announcement of the deal prompted a menacing threat by MoveOn.Org, a grass-roots anti-war group that rose to prominence in last year's elections. In a statement released Wednesday, the group said its members were calling to pull out all the stops, including possibly targeting the seats of Democrats who ran on anti-war platforms but vote for the deal.

"This is a key test vote on whether your representative is serious about ending the war," MoveOn wrote in an e-mail to lawmakers.

2. I thought every DEM incumbent who ran --- won in 06
Without getting into specifics (I have not time in between jobs at work) - I'd imagine many of those DEMS ran on an anti-war platform, with other issues of course.

Without doing my research Greeby, I'm guessing your assumption may be wrong. And I'm open to being corrected. :)

3. Very easy, the Peace Team site put up a list during the election
Of the affiliated candidates. While I suspect most of the links don't work anymore, the list is still available at http://www.peaceteam.net/
