Airport Security has stopped NOTHING since 9-11 |
|
Keep that in mind-they've stopped shampoo and cosmetics, they've stopped nail clippers and personal hygiene implements, and they've stopped legal jackknifes and folding tools...
But they have never stopped a highjacker or a plot.
Got that-out of the millions of passengers they forced to walk shoeless thru their ridiculous lines for 9 years the score is many millions to zero.
And now they MUST feel your private parts or shoot naked snapshots because of what?
Had they ever come within a country mile of stopping a plot they would scream it from the roof. Instead you must now submit to groping because, well, it gives the "security" troops something to do.
Keep in mind, with the same techniques they cannot keep drugs, weapons, cell phones, and other contraband out of maximum security prisons...
So I ask, WHY???

3. Consider that the shoe bomber and the underpant bomber |
|
were allowed right onto the planes. But if 70 year old grandma gets groped, that's going to make all of us safer?

4. Their underlying assumption that terrorists are evenly distributed throughout the population must be |
|
wrong. Or they would have caught at least one of us by now.

7. You're making the wrong assumption, I think |
|
They don't give a rats ass about terrorists, they want a compliant populous.

It isn't about protecting you, it's about training you. Do you really think you or most of your fellow Americans would submit to a fascist state if it were sprung on you all at once? Of course not. But, incrementally, we are accepting police state actions. The airports are a testing ground, crowd control devices are another, the rise in Taser use by the police, yet another.
I still joke that it's security theater but I don't laugh quite as much these days. I think it's training for us and training for the brownshirts (TSA) etc. Things we can't even imagine could well be coming our way.

8. To see how much we'll take before we reach the tipping point |
|
For a majority of the sheep, so far, that will take body cavity searches. For some, we've hit that point with the most current measures, for me, it was when I could no longer bring back a bottle of beer in my carryon luggage.
Stop the hysteria, we're not going to catch terrorists on US airlines flying within our country.

http://www.bts.gov/publications/national_transportation_statistics/html/table_02_16a.html902 firearms in 2009 to you, is nothing? The new stuff is over the top, but does not make it okay to state things which are simply not true.
