marches for the 2 million people about to lose their unemployment benefits on Dec 1.

Is it just that it doesn't fit into the corporate takeover / democrat's sellout narrative,
or perhaps relative indifference to real peoples lives and poverty.

Where's the passion, the rage"

Is is just that it's difficult to blame Obama this time,
or more sexy to concentrate on the TSA ?

This is a serious post.

If ever there was a time to speak out and act up it's right now.

The game may be rigged, but the moral imperative here is quite clear.

7. Yeah after three wives, numerous girlfriends, being
hospitalized for a month, having a nurse do a ultrasound on my testicles last year, and having been arrested numerous times I'm so worried about the destruction of my liberty by someone touching my genitals with the back of their hand that I'm afraid to leave the house.

Seriously, I average two to three protests a month besides my work schedule and time spent organizing. Liberals will probably never figure out that it requires a lot more than showing up and voting for your favorite corporatist every couple of years, but at least they get they hell out of the way. I f I can get retired I will have a lot more time to devote and not be so worried about getting busted as I am the sole income for a son and wife.

I just can't comprehend the lack of fight in the liberal establishment. It's due a a faulty belief system that the enemy
will see the light if we occupy a higher moral plane. I'm from ranch country. and we call call this cult belief by its proper scholarly name. BULLSHIT. Any tactic that works is fair in the real world.

2. Street protests?
You mean go out into the streets, chain ourselves together and get dragged off to jail? Like the people in 2000 that voted for Ralph Nader when they saw that the race in Florida and other critical states was brutally close? Sorry, count me out. I prefer working at preventing a train wreck over tilting against it's raging fires after the fact. How many of you people that want to go out in the streets and raise hell voted during the midterms? Contributed money to democrats? Organized voters and canvassed neighborhoods looking for every possible democratic vote? Called friends and family asking them to vote for democrats?

Where do I find the hurl emotion icon?

4. Well said.
Welcome to DU.

There is a smilies lookup table right above the subject line.

But don't forget. If you don't want to fight the raging fire, we must make sure it doesn't start in the first place. I helped canvas for Jerry Brown and some local props here in SF, but even after the elections we must maintain our focus on the issues.
