QUITTER who QUIT her public service job "willing to offer myself up in the name of public service"

Sarah Palin gets an hourlong Hannity job: Definitely considering a presidential run, but she won't talk to Katie Couric

By David Neiwert

http://crooksandliars.com/david-neiwert/sarah-palin-gets-hourlong-hannity-jo

Sarah Palin last night was treated to an hourlong version of that new Fox News tradition, the the Hannity Job: "one of those appearances where Sean strokes you, tosses you a bunch of softballs, and lets you promote your campaign and issue non-answers whenever you like." This meant, of course, that Joe Miller was NOT among the topics of discussion.

It was clear Hannity intended to use the hour as launching pad not just for her new book, but for her all-but-certain presidential candidacy:

PALIN: Well, now I'm thinking about 2012. And I am thinking about it, looking at the lay of the land and trying to figure out if my candidacy would be good for the national debate. Good for my family. Good nor the country.

If so, you know I would be willing to offer myself up in the name of public service. If there are others out there, though, willing to make the tough choices, the sacrifices that a candidate needs to make, then I can -- you know, rest assured that I can be a strong supporter of theirs. So we'll see it who it is who wants to be in the line-up.

1. The republicans seem to hate her now as well
does she really have any chance in hell of even coming close to winning?

3. Her voters
These are the types of people who show up at the Iowa caucus in the dead of winter. She could win Iowa and South Carolina (Southern Baptist fundy wackos) and build momentum from there.

4. The corporate media in this country could rehabilitate
Freddy Kruger if they put a full-blown effort into it.

If they get the marching orders to push Sarah, she will be a very viable candidate. This is America. Rationality and sanity and good judgment have nothing to do with our political choices--as witness the midterm debacle.

2. I find it so hard to believe that she even WANTS that job
Especially seeing how much more lucrative her current gigs are. Could all this 2012 talk just be self-promotion, to keep her fans tuning in?

It'll vastly increase her market value.
And she won't actually have to do the job. Just like with Bush, there will be some nice folks representing the moneyed classes who will be happy to take over that boring day-to-day stuff for her and sort of direct her around from one winky, smart-talking public appearance to the next.

6. Perhaps no one has told her yet what the job requires...
You know, the day to day duties, etc.

8. her gigs will be much more lucrative if she wins the repub nom for Prez...
and her ego is HUGE.

She will go for it. And do it tea party style - NOT answer pesky reporters, ONLY talk to friendly media, and play fast and loose with "truth"

I'm glad she's offering herself.

15. Public Service???
So donate your TLC lucre to the Food Pantries around the US in your name for Thanksgiving. While you give thanks (and a BJ?) to Rupert and Roger and Bill and Sean..

I HATE her and all she stands for - which, basically is nothing.
