"I'm credible because I read the intelligence" - GW Bush
That was his response to Gregory today. Discussion on Tweety.
Now seriously shouldn't all of MSM be discussing this with his previous intelligence reading failures.

1. BushCo didn't have to "read" pre-war intelligence--they manufactured it.

2. Wasn't it his Intelligence that got us into this mess in the first place
He was sure quick to blame it on faulty intelligence anyway...Why is it good now but not then?

10. Just amazes me, even though it shouldn't...
I don't think there's a single thing Bush can say that I'd believe. If he said "my name is George" I'd probably think he was lying.

But, that's the nature of the beast, right? Politicians and lying have gone hand in hand for centuries and centuries, and American politicians are obviously no different.

All these people are the same....habitual liars. But should we be surprised?

Some "interesting" reading on the lying nature of politicians:

"Politicians Lie? Say it Ain't So!"

14. Only if your conclusions from 'reading the intelligence' are correct, George. And if you're talking
about your 'latest' 2005 intelligence report, then the conclusion is that your invasion and occupation of Iraq forced bin Laden to establish operations there and greatly increased the 'terrorists' who hate America. So, the only people who are credible are those who opposed your stupid invasion in the first place.

18. I wonder if they haven't become inured by the constant flow of lies and stupidity.

It never stops. If it's not Smirky then it's any of his underlings. They keep the flow of deceit and spin flowing at such a constant velocity that after a while no one pays it any attention any more.

doing the right thing and you haven't done anything since but start a F'n illegal war and kill hundreds of thousands of innocent people and thousands of our soldiers for oil profits... like some sort of sick psychopath, like someone who would execute 152 people... or as a child put firecrackers up a frogs butt and blow them up... to enjoy death, to create death where ever you go later in life, and mock the fear of those about to die, after the POPE personally asked you not to kill her

what a pice of F'n SH*T...

And one he didn't read...the August 6, 2001 PDB. Maybe he just didn't understand the words "bin Laden determined to attack U.S."
