13. I wouldn't be shocked
With Sharon "we close at 5" Keller sitting at the top of the Court of Criminal Appeals, I wouldn't be surprised if she and her cronies found a way to get Delay's conviction reversed.

Still, that possibility is no reason not to celebrate the job well done of the jury in this case.

17. He'll appeal and lose EVERY turn.
And then he would have double down with 2 life sentence with $2 billion in restitution for wasting Texas' time.

25. Well, considering the Citizen United decision
I wouldn't be surprised if it got reversed.

Republicans look out for each other, even the corrupt ones...

14. WOW... that was quick.... I never thought it would happen so fast
after the new trial...

My late Aunt lived in Sugarland and I know the coruption of the judicial system.

You know how he stayed out for so long?

Republican judges said that CHECKS CASHED WERE NOT MONEY.

TRUE STORY.

GREAT NEWS.

15. I just hope the jury finds DeLay disgusting enough to merit life without parole
and restitution of $1 billion to the Democratic Party, drawn from the RNC and offshore accounts of DeLay and his ilk.
