Airline tickets will soon include a fee for a rent-a-lawyer that each passenger will have accompany |

them through check-in. That's cause Rush says the Democrat Party is in the pocket of them trial lawyers. :sarcasm:

1. You laugh, but I'll bet lots of travelers would love an ACLU lawyer |

be available and would probably pay a retainer to ensure that to be the case. I've certainly thought about it. The fact is that there are multiple incidents that have been documented where the passenger's basic rights were abused. I take no pleasure in knowing that the RW is exploiting the situation, but when the administration is acting in blatant disregard of civil rights and evidence-based justification, I refuse to ignore it.

2. The insanity of the situation has to produce humor. But out of humor can come action. |

Just imagine passengers showing up with attorneys who, being attorneys, will bury the process with even more complications that will bring it to a standstill. Call it political theater and see the possibility. More benign and less threatening than some other possible protests. note - I do not minimize the seriousness of what the latest (all, actually) crap from the TSA does to individuals as well as what it illustrates about how far we have fallen. Each time I think, "WTF next?", something more comes along.
