Everyone wants to shit on Obama and Clinton.
Where were the precious Liberals? I don't care if it was before during or after. People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

7. Ahh, never actually sprayed a keyboard with a beverage before
but this post made it happen. And an auspicious evening for it, too. Ah, the memories we're creating.

2. If you won't declare how you will vote until your vote won't influence outcome
I am glad they voted no, but think it was dirty politics. I hate politics.

3. You mean for their "calculated votes?" Where they wait like snakes to see
which way the mouse goes before they strike?

5. So you are defending all the yes votes?
Go right ahead, I'll be waiting.

13. None of us are defending any yes votes but are very disappointed in
the politics of these 2 people who are running for president. They did not lead but waited to see what others did. True leaders are not afraid to lead. Neither of these 2 did. While I appreciate their no votes, they should have done them sooner, before the bill had enough votes to pass already. That would have shown courage and leadership.

24. well, it could be worse....
they could have not voted because they were busy campaigning for President....seems like that was something that was a frequent occurance during the 04 by more than one Democratic Senator running for President....

4. Aren't they running for president?
Shouldn't they stand where and when people can see exactly where they stand?

12. Exactly
This whole thing was stage managed to give cover for the primaries. I'm in the only money for Kucinich and Feingold camp (along with a few others that had the courage to vote no beforehand), the rest of them including my esteemed Senator McCaskill can just go fly a kite. Tomorrow she will get an email to take me off her mailing list, I don't want to hear their excuses.

:argh: :spank: :grr:

9. Precious liberals - huh -
Man I am a moderate - and those people were nowhere.

I so want Gore - He is the right choice - hands down.

If I am wrong and he does not run - Edwards is the only real choice here.

Jesus Christ - at least he made the right choice now.

Joe

14. It is becoming apparent...
That the Dem nominee cannot be from either house of this present congressional delegation. They are way too compromised.

26. Edwards didn't have a choice now.
I'm sorry - I think he's a flip-flopping pure politician - always changing his mind to match what is popular.

17. Because people are too ignorant to know the facts. Obama votes last all the time
try watching the senate first before passing judgement on people.
The ignorance is stiffling here.
