Palin is using reality TV and her family as part of her 2012 presidential campaign |
|
We all saw how shamelessly Sarah Palin paraded her family during the 2008 GOP convention. Now that she's. All but guaranteed to be one of the repuke frontrunners for 2012, she's doing everything she can to push her "aw shucks" demeanor. First she gets her daughter on the hit show "Dancing with the Stars" where her rabid teabagger sycophants push her all the way into the finals. Then Sarah gets her very own reality show on TLC, the same network that brought us the Duggars and John&Kate Gosselin. She uses this show to lay on her whole smarmy "golly gee wiz" crap that her followers love to lap up, as well as a platform to push her political views, which she doesn't hesitate to do.
At what point does "reality tv" become a political campaign? Imagine the repuke uproar that would have erupted if Obama or Hillary Clinton would have had their own reality show in 2007.

3. Be careful what you wish for |

Every time she sticks her foot in her mouth, her followers eat it up. To them, she's just one of them. They love her whole "gee shucks" attitude. There's also a sizable anti-Obama sentiment building up, and the economy isn't helping that.

I was surprised by the taunting, name calling and bullying of Obama and his appointees by angry Repubs. That was their idea of clever.
And as much as we scoff at Palin's 'intellect', her team posted masses of tainted videos of Obama's verbal gaffes on her Facebook page... making Obama look foolish and weak.
It's the street fighter smarts they admire..
Eye of the beholder, isn't it?

9. The show was a bad idea. It makes her look even more dumb. If that's possible. |
