Allow me a moment of your time to tell you about my Dogs - Wiggles and Buster
Buster is a mini-dachshund, weighs about 8 lbs. Wiggles is his son, his mother was a Jack Russell. They are both cute as a button. Buster runs around the tree out back for hours a day. Barks to be let out just to do that. He has some issues....Wiggles is just plain cute. Chocolate in color with great markings.

And they are naughty too. Poop on the floor, figured out how to open cabinets and get into things. Bark if a bird so much pisses a hundred feet from our house.

My dogs don't do jack. Lazy as hell. They play together and have fun, sleep, eat, bark, shit, mark anything they can.

Yet I feed em each day. When buster was sick I took him to the vet and cried because he stayed over night and I was worried about him.

You wanna know WHY I mention the two of them??

Because my dogs don't have to prove anything to me for me to care about them and take care of them.

And yet here we sit in this country with people that are homeless and hungry - and the RW bitches about them and says they can fix it if they just get off their butts and do something.

I don't treat my dogs as bad as you treat your fellow humans. And I am betting a lot of you take care of your dogs too - but you are not willing to take care of another human being.

Sure - there are a lot of differences between taking care of pets and people. And I don't expect you at all to invite the homeless into your home. That is asking a bit much of just about anyone really.

But would it fucking hurt you to help pass legislation on health care, poverty, homelessness, etc to help people? Sure it takes money - but I am willing to part with some for something so important. You have no problem having your tax dollars pissed away in wars or to help other people in other countries - do you? I mean, you want to rebuild Iraq and make a better life for the people there, at a great expense of life and money - why not use that money here in the US to rebuild it?

Let me see...what would a christian do? Hmmm....go to war and kill a lot of people over lies or keep their people at home and help the needy. I am gonna have to think about that one for awhile. NOT.

Which is a bigger threat to the very people of this country you want to defend - Iraq or poverty? Iraq or poor health care and the ability to have health care? Iraq or freezing to death outside on a cold night because you have no where else to sleep?

Your not patriots. Your a bunch of dumbasses.

2. I agree with you.
And here is my two cents...

America First! American citizens first! America Infrastructure first! America security First!

We should not be rebuilding foreign countries when we aren't rebuilding our own Gulf Coast.

4. That's my point. We are not rebuilding the Gulf Coast. We
are not helping our homeless citizens and our infrastructure needs at least the 8 billion that * wants to send to Iraq.

We are doing nothing.

6. That about sums it up.
There needs to be a program that allows the Gulf States to hire their own residents not (import workers) to rebuild and become a part of the rebirth of the Gulf Coast. But you see that would take a leader with vision....and um we don't have that right now.
