After we've bombed & occupied Iran, will we be hanging Ahmadinejad?

bush is of course using the EXACT SAME LANGUAGE that he used prior to occupying Iraq and toppling it's government and imprisoning it's head of state resulting in his execution by rope. The magic 8 ball says that all signs point to war with Iran, as do the many battleships gathering near there, as does our commander in chief, dick cheney.

So after we've bombed and invaded and occupied Iran and established dozens of new military bases there, will we also get to drag Ahmadinejad out of his prison cell in the middle of the night to hang him like we did with Saddam?

Cause like, I'll be really disappointed if we don't.

6. Occupation's out

The US can't even successfully occupy an Iraq of 27 million, most of them supposedly "friends", so it has no chance of occupying an Iran of 70 million. Ahmadinejad will doubtless be an assassination target, but he doesn't run the show: Iran's leadership's not centralized the way Saddam's was, and enough of it's likely to survive a strike to direct the resulting Shia backlash across the region. So once again there'll be no victory and no end, just war for the sake of destruction and a demented pursuit of world domination.

Occupation is totally unrealistic, it's colonial thinking, imperialism, Nazi-ism, but I do believe there will be some sort of attack on Iran, the current thinking being that it will be Israel that does the strike.

which will be enough to stop the flow of a lot of Iranian oil (pushing up the world price, making even more profit for the oil companies). Eventually, there will be an internal overthrow of the present government, and whoever ends up in charge will realise they have to make a deal with the USA, and allow in the multinational oil companies to pump the Iranian oil too.

Think of it like 'The Mob'; any neighbourhoods who don't pay protection money get smashed up, until they give up and sell to someone who will pay. The gangsters never have to own the businesses to get the profit.

And the dozens of bases in Iraq, this will never work and they know it.

I've heard people say for years that there is an attack coming to Iran, but the dates certain seem to always come and go.

What Army do you envision will be occupying Iran, and where will they come from?
