4. HOLY-HAIL STORM BATMAN!! |
I've been in many Montana thunderstorms....I've had to pull over off the road because the hail was coming down so hard and fast that you couldn't see two feet in front of you. I've sat terrified in my van wondering if the hail was going to shatter the windshield or if the eardrum-breaking thunder was going to render me deaf or if the lightning was going to fry my van in a bright, blue blaze...but I've NEVER, EVER seen anything like this! :scared: :wow:

5. That's the question that I had |
Is this a common occurrence in Montana? Went through there with my family as a kid and did hit a hail storm with hail the size of golf balls -- broke the windshield. But don't recall seeing anything like this. Well, I guess it is unique.

10. Yes, thunderstorms are common in Montana, especially in the summer |
They are also more prevalent in the plains, east of the Rocky Mountains. Last summer in June, a tornado ripped through Billings, Montana, the largest tornado to hit the county in 50 years.

16. All those HDR photos look like Thomas Kinkade™ paintings to me. |
A nice effect, but overdone in my opinion.
