Bitch and whine all you want that I should give him more time, it ain't happening. It's time to start thinking about MY future and what I'm going to do to survive.

Caviar & champagne for the rich, crumbs and water for the poor. Polluted water at that.

Fucking sucks.

1. Two years was plenty of time
The inept Dems who enable the Republicans to run the government EVEN WHEN THEY'RE IN THE MINORITY are as much to blame as the Republicans for all of this.

2. I know I'm in the minority, but I've always believed he's done what
he's felt is the best for the people and the country. I strongly disagree with many of his actions, but I think rather than ONLY listening to us he takes all citizens into consideration. Just my take.

But, I think I've finally had to realize that he will never get to that "Enough!" point. Sigh.

3. Sometimes he is really right on, sometimes not.
His take on education seems to be off, and his speech to the class of children was off.

But his back yard talks before election, and a couple campaign speeches were on.

shrug, haven't thought about it much.

4. Gately, we hold both houses. It is still 2010.
He gave in not only on tax cuts for the uber wealthy, but the estate tax waivers (and since when was that part of the discussion). Nothing for tier 5 99ers.

This was his last chance with both houses to get something progressive done.

Like someone else said here, I think he had daddy issues and just wants the Republicans to like him. Screw his base and what is best for this country, our debt and our deficit. Hell, even Warren Buffett has been lamenting the nonsensical low tax rates for 'his bracket' for a decade.

5. Agree, and I hold him responsible that it GOT to this point where
he had to give so much for so little (again). I don't know what he could have done, but he should have been on top of it, damn it! But I was just saying that I don't agree with those who think he's in bed with the Big Bucks, that I think he does the best he can with the god awful situation he's let us get in to! If that makes any sense.

8. I am sure his heart is in the right place
but he isn't capable of leading a St Patty's Day parade at this point, IMO. :(

Leaders don't start with a compromised position and then agree to last minute giveaways (estate tax) on top of it.

12. Gotta agree with you on that. And I'm really surprised. I thought
he'd be more savvy.

Now BIDEN could lead a St. Patty'd Day parade in great style! :7

10. The president acts like we no longer control either house.
It is too late to make excuses. Only the Progressives can stop him now.
