What Are We Going To Do Next Year? |
|
Edited on Tue Dec-07-10 07:36 AM by DemocratSinceBirth
What are we going to do next year when we can't even get a bill out of the House because the Republicants have a majority?
We are screwed.

1. We're going to "negotiate" peace in our time... |
|
It worked so well for Chamberlain.
Where's that white flag I had?

2. We Do Have A Tangible Problem |

All Obama has now is his veto and bully pulpit. He can stop bad things from happening but he can no longer make good things happen.

5. We start fixing blame right where it belongs |
|
Since the Republicans are the "Party of NO!", they also become the party of blame.
Every single problem, no matter how slight, is to be assigned to the do nothing obstructions in Congress. Given the opportunity to improve the situation, the Republicans refuse to cooperate, therefore they must take responsibility for continuation of the problem.
Put the Republicans front and center with their refusals to back the President, and then show the American people how much worse off we all are because of the inactions of the 'Pukes. It is their fault, and we need to spread the word far and wide.

especially when we had majorities in the house and senate, but a complete lack of leadership from the Oval Office.

Republicans will stomp their feet, cry, scream and throw a child like tantrum on the House floor if they don't get their way. Then there will be the occasional threats.
