You have to be SOOOOO careful. My kids are older and I still don't like it when my youngest (10yo) leaves my side to go find his dad or put something back in the store and a lot of my gray hairs are from my oldest playing 'hide and seek' in the clothes racks in stores. I remember years ago, it was a horrible feeling to come out of a dressing room, ask hubby where our 4yo daughter was and have him point and say "over there somewhere".

we were allowed to shop and meet up at a specific time or to even go back to the car to wait if we were bored. Heavens how things have changed. For a mother to allow their child out of their sight now would just be insane.
