Because it's pretty obvious that any politician opening their fucking piehole about these topics has no credibility whatsoever.

4. Politicians? Shit, you'll be hearing it from DUers soon.
The people defending this tax cut compromise will suddenly transform into deficit hawks when it comes time to defend the Catfood austerity plans.

6. AGREED. However it won't stop them. You don't need credibility when you run... well, everything.
But at least we can throw it in their faces and tell them to STFU about it.

"WE KNOW YOU'RE LYING." should be repeated constantly by anyone with a brain and a microphone.

8. don't ever say "nest egg"
"Don't ever say nest egg. In fact, you can never use the words nest or egg. If you see a bird land in a nest, say, he landed in a bunch of twigs. And a chicken lays little round things we eat."

9. Bwahahahaha!
Good one! You'll be a millionaire with those kinds of comic chops.

The next step will be the adoption of the most punitive recommendations from the Catfood Commission. Those recommendations, never officially adopted, and not part of any final report, will become the gold standard of deficit reduction proposals, because they were promulgated by a "bipartisan" commission of millionaires. The one and only way to avert economic catastrophe in the United States (and they've already begun using just this kind of rhetoric) will be to raise the retirement age and cut social security benefits for future retirees. In fact, it will be all the easier to do that, because with the insidious addition of cutting current contributions to social security, the actuaries will have no choice but to move up the anticipated date of the program's "insolvency" adding to the urgency of cutting benefits, which the Republicans and their media pals will have no trouble following through on.

After all, they're set for life. Too bad for the rest of you that you're dependent on a government program to keep you out of grinding poverty, but them's the breaks, and the wealthy need their tax breaks.
