If it were given to the middle class and below the economy would actually be stimulated. Or, instead of giving it directly to us (as is being done for the wealthy) but, instead, using it to buy stuff for the country would also stimulate the economy. Even better still would be to use that money to invest in American infrastructure. We would all benefit directly and the economy would be stimulated.

Instead, we spend it in a way that gets us nothing, but causes the stock market to go up. Which is sickeningly ironic. They get a windfall they can use to fund their celebratory events behind their locked gates.

Really.

It is getting to be time.

1. The economy would be much more stimulated if the unemployed could all get jobs
Taxes are not really the issue.

2. Actually, if you stop to think about it, they are the issue - at least the cuts for the rich are.
Clearly Obama was willing to spend the three quarters of a trillion to grant them their tax cuts. Imagine if that had been spent, instead, on job-creating infrastructure projects. That would have created jobs. Instead, it get spent on a giveaway that gives the little guy nothing.

I think your comment was disingenuous because I think you know better.
