"Something for everybody" in this agreement? BULLSHIT! |
|
I'll tell you who there is NOTHING for, in fact, there is plenty of hurt waiting for these people.
The 99ers. Those who have been unemployed for 99 weeks or more.
Do they get more unemployment benefits? NO
Do they get a tax cut? NO (they have no income! Ask a homeless person how much tax breaks means to them!)
Do they get a better social safety net? NO! In fact, these tax cuts ensure that any remnants that are left of their safety net will be completely shredded as more and more programs get slashed by this austerity.
TELL ME WHAT THE 99ers GET????

1. Yes, they were left out of this bill. We need to try to get assistance |
|
for them before this Congress is out of session. It won't happen in 2011. That I can guarantee.

4. The money squandered on the Bush tax cuts would have been much better spent on a real jobs |
|
program. Everybody, even the super rich (really, do they really want to live in a society where they have to hire their own private security? Don't answer.) would have benefitted.
