Obama vows to fight now that the unemployed and middle class have been rescued from the evil GOP |
|
Should we believe that? Hardly!
Obama can't or won't even get Rush Limbaugh off of Armed Forces Radio. Why should any progressive believe this President's vow to fight when he won't even use his power and bully pulpit to attack Limbaugh's daily dissing of the CIC to our soldiers on AFN. Is there ANY battle this President will fight to win?
Obama cannot even pick the low hanging fruit.
This whole thing sucks!

1. I think someone should send him a copy of *The Boy Who Cried Wolf* |

for Christmas. It's obvious he hasn't read it.
But it might already be too late.

5. Here's the thing. Our troops, or at least some of them, |
|
want to hear it. We're not in the business of censoring what those particular US citizens can and cannot listen to. This argument has been made many times, and it's not going to happen. I hate Limbaugh, and won't have it on anyplace I am. If it's on and they won't turn it off, I simply leave.
We do not get, though, to censor things for our military personnel. They ask for Limbaugh's program, so Armed Forces radio carries it, or at least part of it for personnel stationed out of the country.

It is obvious that you have no understanding of how and why Limbaugh came to be on the AFN in the first place. It was a purely political act by the GOP of the 1990's. It was never and is not now a function of what the soldiers want.
Nice try though! I am sure Rush appreciates it!
