When Landrieu is Against the Policy You Caved

Even Senator Mary Landrieu is against the tax cut agreement that President Obama made with the Republicans. Senator Landrieu is steamed about this deal. Landrieu was on CNN a few minutes ago and she said if she does in the end vote for this plan she will do so only after making it clear that she was totally against the deal.

If you have Senator Landrieu on your side on this issue you fight to get a better deal. I thought for sure that Landrieu would be one of the Democrats that would support this tax cut deal. Let me be clear, I would not have supported Landrieu's support for this deal, but I thought she was going to support this deal because of her political stances. In my opinion it is a big deal that Senator Landrieu is expressing anger at this deal.

Landrieu added, however, that she had yet to make a decision on the final package and was speaking strictly about the extension of tax cuts for the wealthy.
