3. If she gets more than 50% of the vote, I'll eat my hats.
Don't see fence sitters and indies voting for her, sorry. Not now, not ever.

7. Did bu$h get 50% of the vote?
She does not have to get 50% of the vote to win, not in America, not with our current corporate politics.

11. Palin isn't Bush II.
I look at Palin, I don't think "Close enough to Steal", sorry. She's a tabloid comedy act. Non-serious, too much of a whack-job and can't be passed off as a Moderate. I honestly find it hard to believe more reasonable Republicans (yes, they do exist) would be supporting her as they did Bush. Sad as it is to say, her gender would likely hurt her among the more batshit dominionist Repubs.

16. Never again will I fall for the candidate is too stupid meme
I though bu$h was too stupid to be elected and the voters would be just smart enough to prevent an idiot like him from getting close to the office. I was proven wrong on that account not once but twice when the voters got him close enough they could steal the elections in 2000 and 2004.

So never underestimate the stupidity of the voters and the corruption of the candidate to steal an election and even IF I am unhappy with the current Democrat in the White House, I will never do anything that would remotely enable the likes of a Palin from getting that close. I will take the worse Democrat in the country over any Republican any day.

The anger on the left does nothing but help the GOP or Teabaggers chances in 2012.

and doesn't appeal to hardline fiscal conservatives (think George Will, for instance).

or sit out the election rather than re-elect that right wing fascist we have in office now <sarcasm>

With President Obama as the Russian president.

People in various parts of government are sabotaging him, like with the pat downs, and things like that.

Then if he does not stick with it, he looks weak or out of control, and if he goes with it, he has to take the blame for the actions.

That is why I said some are trying to make him look weak, and why he is in a tough spot, basically some on the far right, and some that are part of other groups, are sabotaging things.

Oil wells, TSA security measures, foreign policy, stuff like that, basic scorched earth policies.

Been expected, Kerry knew about it also, and why he did not fight the steal of election in 2004, he said if he went against them in Ohio they would use scorched earth.

The reason I am not mad at Democrats, nor blame them, is I know the troubles are scorched earth by Republicans.

Going to stand on the line.

The President is On The Line.

Side note, I never surrendered, nor make those kind of deals. But that is a pretty good show and a good scene.

I think this is a bit better.

:D Pretty good scifi show.

However, Scorched earth also takes out their side also, and who will survive?

Not worried about it. Look at the function not the data. The show says some things true about many things.

Can you see how many of them think?

No one is stupid enough to think Obama can be defeated in 2012. At least I hope not.

13. Heh heh . . . take a look at more than a handful of DU sometime.
They think he's as good as gone come then.

I always ask who this sure fire Republican ace-in-the-hole will be that's gonna pull the upset. I have yet to get an answer other than "America is stupid, they'll put ANYone in place, doesn't matter who if they're pissed off enough".

See, I refuse to believe that. I don't think America's forgotten who put us in hot water just yet.

to bash our president and we bolster the other side while discouraging those on our side from voting at all, or vote 3rd party (which is the worst thing that could happen).

If a democrat runs against President Obama in the Primaries in 2012, we lose. That's all there is to it. And if you really think President Obama is the SAME as the republicans, look again at the cartoon to see who is being sworn in. President Obama and Sarah "the quitter" Palin are NOTHING alike.

15. Obama and Palin share many important aspects of policy and
of reasons for that policy. Both are opposed to the equal rights of certain minority groups due to the dogmas of their particular branch of religious belief. Both say straight people are inherently superior to others and both claim to 'defend the Sacrament of marriage' against teh gay.
So in that regard they are very alike, and that is far from being nothing, that is a basic human rights issue on which they each take the anti-equality position for the exact same 'reasons'.
Deal with it. They have tons of commonality. Both believe in invisible influences upon humanity, both think their perceptions of those influences should dictate to others how to live.
How can you pretend that is not true? Both of them say it all the time. In the VP debate, Biden shouted his agreement with Palin against equality. It is not a secret that they are alike in that way.
