U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi will not bring President Barack Obama's current proposed tax plan up for a vote in her chamber, an aide said on Thursday.

The aide said Pelosi would require changes be made to the measure that most of her fellow House Democrats formally opposed by approving a resolution of opposition to it.

Have we ever sent flowers to her?
Now might be the time.

But we could definitely voice our support / appreciation / and send her our thanks for being heard.

I'm proud to be a Democratic woman today represented by another who has the guts to say "NO", not on my watch

Nancy has stood up to one hell of a lot of crap--even from members of her own party. She is a real leader. Thank heavens the majority of her caucus was smart enough to see that and return her to her leadership position.
