2. She'd better hope she gets another vote on this |
|
because right now, she's going to be remembered as the person who said she was for it.
and then voted against it.
i'm trying to figure out if there's anybody on earth that will give her the benefit of the doubt after a move like that.

4. She just won a fresh 6 year term... |
|
...she doesn't have to care what you or anyone else thinks for several more years.
I am sure that is the way she sees it anyway.

6. That was my first thought too. |

Voters, by and large, have very short memories. When Murkowski is up for reelection in 2016, this vote will have been long forgotten by most of her constituents.

8. then she better hopes she doesn't make history |
|
if she ever does anything great...by the time that makes the history books, people will be aghast that she voted the way she did on this issue.
kind of like how FDR is remembered in reference to Japanese-American Internment.
is this how i want to be remembered, not a year from now, but when my grandchildren are talking about me?
and what is she getting out of it? it's sad that she thinks it's worth the trade.

7. She won another six-year term |
|
by assuring certain spineless Democrats and indies in Alaska that she would be "moderate" and "her own person." All of us Scott McAdams supporters tried to warn them.

She has to redeem herself. She never would have won the election without the support of a lot of Democrats in Alaska.

Most Republicans don't care how dishonest their people are as long as they are the winners..
