Do you think Reid has been given a free pass? |
|
I know you all don't like Obama but many of the things happening these days is due to Reid's ineptness. Nancy got the job done - and lost her spot. Harry Raid did nothing and wins. Reid had two years to get things done -he did nothing but give the republics everything. Now at the end of the year he decides to do something. Tell me who is to blame?

2. Reid ran against a joke of an opponent. |
|
That's why he won. If the Rs ran someone better, I believe the Rs would've won.

4. We lost the House and kept the Senate in the 2010 election. That's |
|
why Nancy lost her spot.
At any rate I don't see why Republicans are given a free pass.
The Senate voted Saturday on a "Middle Class Tax Breaks Only" Bill. The Republicans killed it. They are in full blown Robotic Destroy Obama and The Democrat Mode.

5. Guess I am not making myself clear here |

I asked do you think Reid is being given a free pass? Everything is Obama - but remember, it was Reid who said that Obama would not tell him what to do.
I know - I said he was inept - so, yes I've read and followed so no need for the sarcasm. I am asking a question.

6. Oh, no sarcasm intended! |
|
I honestly don't know how Reid could get Republicans to vote for anything that the Dems propose. There used to be sensible Republicans who would vote for things that were good ideas. All this group wants to do is destroy Obama and the Democrats. Anything to make dems look bad.
I actually think Reid has done a decent job given what he was working with. He is not a dynamic speaker like Pelosi though, and he did not have the clear majority she had in the house. Apparently he is well liked by the Dem caucus and they listen to him. I do wish he was more dynamic. The words he says are good, the tone will just put you to sleep!

7. I don't like Obama's policy, especially with these tax cuts... |
|
that doesn't mean I don't like Oama.
The Senate and the House are different parts of the legislative branch, and work very differently. I think Reid knows what he is doing, but I sill oppose Obama's tax cut dea;/

10. That is not the subject |
|
Nancy did a great job - what happened to the almost 300 bills that sat in the Senate. The last few weeks these bills are being jammed through. This has nothing to do with Obama's tax plan - what happened in the Senate? Good old boys network?

They drug their feet using Senate rules and kept legislation from passing.
Do you think Harry Reid planned the Repulbican Obstruction plan?

12. Monique I hate to say it but found this true |

You can get into more useful political discussions at NFL.com than here, because this site has been taken over by a group who have lost touch with reality and they can't see the forest for the trees. I once thought this site was a treasure but it has turned into a tool for the repukes to regain control because too many here thinks that Ed Shultz is right. The problem is you let the tax laws sunset and after Jan. revisit them when the Republicans will be more honest brokers. That makes Ed a candidate for his own segment Psycho Talk. Look at the group of nuts that are coming in on the GOP side and then look at a less but still nutty group of the GOP that had control of the government a few years back. How the hell can anyone with half a toe in reality expect they will be honest brokers, that is just psycho talk.

15. If Clinton thought he had it tough |
|
Obama is going to have it tougher - it is all about complete control now by the republics and corporations.
If you thought Obama was a corporatist - just watch Reid and the rest enjoy the corporations.
