Iran - another highly predictable screw-up |
|
They destabilized a country right next door to one of the most fanatic in the world which they themselves had previously identified as part of their "axis of evil"
Did they secure the borders?
Did they use diplomatic channels to warn off the Iranians?
What have they done pro-actively to avoid conflict with Iran?
Answers - No No Nothing
Because no one could have predicted that Iran might try to exert influence in Iraq. Any memos to Condi I'm sure were in a historical context only.
Do we all have to just sit by wringing our hands and moaning while they broaden and escalate crisis in the Mid East? The Congress better turn their attention to Iran and they better do it fast. Like today.

1. they always intended to reshape the middle east, and from there, the world |

its the PNAC's "global leadership" plan. They've been on point with the plan all along.
However, I DO think fighting Iraq vs. fighting Iran will be like taking on pee wee herman in the boxing ring vs. taking on Mike Tyson.
the end result will be devasting. Iran will hand our butts to us, with the sunburn and silkworm missiles, and their highly honed and equipped fighting force. I sadly anticipate they will slaughter most of our fighting men and women, conveniently located in one place for them.
and then what? Once the mad dictator has foolishly squandered all the troops he has, will we see press gangs?
I weep for the world.
