I went to bed with tears and woke up with tears, and I just didn't know what to expect. I hope he isn't hurt, God love him, and I'm hoping they decided they'd had enough of this traveling and donuts and cold coffee...just wanted to go home to their own beds. He was tired when he walked in Wednesday morning, but perked up when he heard the applause.

I am going to compose an email to Joe to encourage him to take the VP job, if offered. I know he said he wouldn't, but dear God, we need him at the helm, even if it's only one hand on the wheel. Cheney has set a precedent where Joe could step in with more power to handle what Obama isn't ready for. I know it isn't what he deserves, but he is what we deserve and I, for one, am willing to settle for that if it is offered. Besides, we'd be able to see him more often. ;-)

Thanks again to all who cheered me on at the end. I'm sorry I didn't do a better job, but as I mentioned elsewhere, this was an American Idol event and he was classier than that.
