I'm sorry I'm late back to this site....and I'm sorry things happened the way they did. I am still in denial....I went to my caucus with 332 other people. We needed 50 to become viable. The most we could garner was 26. We had to give it up...I was beating myself up for what I felt as failure on my part. You have no idea how much pressure I put onto myself. I didn't realign....I left to be with my daughter....her labor lasted over 30 hours. She told me she wouldn't ever forgive me if I didn't go to the caucus. I now wish I had never attended. I have no idea who I will now support...... Your posts on the MSM are right on target. I have been proud on the caucuses in the past. I now realize they have been manipulated by mass ignorance...If we have them again hopefully I'll feel different in 4 years .....It just felt so different this time. I keep hearing reports of the Obama groups around offending so many people. They were kids for the most part....they came in confident and over the top. I suppose Obama could have done even better if his supporters would have had some class in certain precincts. His campaign most definitely did an excellent job of figuring out how to win this caucus. I will give him a chance in the future, but after what I have witnessed I don't see any way I can support him.....I had considered him as a second choice.
I do have a wonderful new baby granddaughter. Mother and daughter are doing just fine. I have three daughters and now have three granddaughters....and I'm on cloud nine about that.

2. Bellator - thanks for all you did. We know that you and the other Bidenites did all they could. |

That is great that you left instead of realigning. I am in the undecided column too. I found myself happy that Obama won last nite, but I am not feeling very "fired up" about him today.
More important - CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! I am so happy for you. All those girls - wow! My brothers and I all had girls, and my mom would always say she hit the jackpot :)

4. Welcome Londyn (did I get that right?) !! |
|
You guys all fought the good fight and did what you could do, and we truly honor you. The circumstances were bigger than the bunch of us.
I keep thinking of that clip where those guys are saying "they'll be looking back and saying why didn't we just nominate Biden?".
At least we can feel some delicious schadenfreude then - frustrating though it may be
Thank you again, Bell -- and thank your daughter for her understanding!

This daughter.....my second....and I are very close. It's a long story. I had to be there. She knows how much this meant to me and always has meant to me....she made me go..
I have to think there is an answer to all of this....I hope everyone keeps in touch...
Thank you!!

How wonderful that some good news came out of all this.
I'm sorry your caucus was such a disappointment, but I'm proud you didn't realign.
Thanks for sharing.

and don't beat yourself up anymore. It wasn't meant to be. I am coming to the conclusion that Joe is SUPPOSED to stay in the Senate as Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee and continue his awesome leadership from there. We all can take comfort in the fact that we know he is trying to look out for "the people".
